Also called Tulsi or Ocimum sanctum, this wonderfully scented member of the basil family is one of our treasured adaptogenic herbs, widely used for its tonic and uplifting properties. I grow them as an annual…saving seeds for the spring. Coming from the Ayurvedic tradition they really love the sun and heat. It’s still in flower on my doorstep!
