White Lady of the Wood

Rolls Bridge meadows, Gillingham, Dorset today 17thJan. The White Lady shines brightly in the crisp cold. Her purple catkins are ready to burst open with pollen and soon we’ll be able to harvest her new young leaves for medicine, just a few from each tree. So what’s her medicine? Cleansing diuretic, anti-inflammatory actions – all great for arthritis, and antibacterial diuretic for UTI’s.
